“Multi-curricular Experience Open Day” in 2024-2025

Good news! Good news! Registration for the “Multi-curricular Experience Open Day” has begun!!

Talent Show is an extension of our regular English courses. It is held once a week. It integrates vocalization, pronunciation, and performance. It combines games, stories, singing, hosting, speeches and other diversified course modes to allow children to interact in English in situations. Virtually improve body language skills and English expression ability.

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Ko Tak-kan Memorial Kindergarten uses the “immersive bilingual teaching” model of bilingual classes, and then foreign teachers add drama elements to the regular English courses and lead children to participate in Talent Show activities, laying a solid foundation in English from an early age and cultivating the ability to “say what they want to say” The excellent qualities of “dare to speak, love to speak, and be able to speak”.

《The 2nd Tuen Mun District Kindergarten Recitation Competition》

Good news! Good news!

Six students from our Upper and Lower Classes, Yau Hei Tung Carys, Tung Yi Kwai, Cheung Chin Suet, Chang Wing Ki, Fong Tsz ang and Chan Hana, won various awards in the “2nd Tuen Mun District Kindergarten Recitation Competition” organized by Shunde Friendship Association Wu Siu Qu Memorial Primary School.

In addition to the outstanding performance of the students, our Director Yeung Shuk-yee, Mandarin teacher (Ms Tse Man yee) and English teacher (Teacher Abegayl) were awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award. Our school was also awarded the “Recitation Cultivation Base Award” and the “Active Participation Award”~ Let’s congratulate all the award-winning students and teachers, and thank the parents and teachers for their careful guidance and cultivation

We are honored to exhibit at the 5th Children’s Book Fair & Super Parent-Child Products Fair and to present an exhibition at the first Hong Kong School Parade to introduce our school’s special curriculum.

The exhibition period will be held from May 17th to 19th, and there will be a variety of programs for three consecutive days, and we have prepared a lot of exciting content, including: Principal Kwan Pei Yan as the guest speaker of the teaching and further education sharing session, student performances and gifts~

Our kindergarten always attaches great importance to children’s art education, and organizes an exhibition of children’s artists with different themes every year to showcase children’s works, so as to arouse children’s interest and sense of art creation. This year, the Park has extended the design of a number of activities through the story guide of the “Reunion” picture book. These include “Poon Choi Shapes Made by Me”, which allows children to design their own or co-designed poon choi using light clay, to develop children’s creative thinking and artistic expression skills, as well as to teach them the values of reunion, Chinese New Year and family. Therefore, we cordially invite parents to participate in the “Children are Artists” exhibition – “Golden Dragon Presents Rui to Celebrate the New Year” Celebration of Poon Choi Creations Exhibition, and welcome all parents to come to the school to watch, the details are as follows:

K2 Visit to “Sunny Smiles Playground Information

On 23 January 2024 (Tuesday), the Lower Class will visit the “Sunny Smile Playground”, details of the activity are as follows:

Assembling time: 1:00pm (Please be punctual)
Assembling Place: Our school (please enter through the main entrance of the school hall)
Dismissal time: 4:45pm
Dismissal point: Main entrance of the school hall
Attire: Please wear full winter sportswear and bring a water bottle with a strap (name must be written on it).
Notes:
1. Children do not need to pay for their homework or bring the school bag.
2. Morning and afternoon classes will return to the school according to the above meeting time; morning classes do not need to have lessons in the morning, and children in whole-day classes can go to school according to the normal time.
3. Please note that there will be no extra-curricular activities for Ballet and Jazz Dance on this day.

In order to welcome the coming of Chinese New Year, we have arranged the “I Love Hong Kong, I Love China” Lunar New Year’s Eve Game Booth Parent-child Activity, which allows children to learn and understand more about the traditional culture of Chinese New Year through playing games.
